There are some simple guidelines I abide by when selling real estate.

1. There is nothing I can say that is going to make you spent $500,000. So, no sales tricks, no funny wording just straight honest answers. My job is to get you all the information you need to make an educated decision and in some cases I will tell you not to buy something.
2. It helps me to figure out what you don’t like, so I can figure out what you do like. This is a big thing. I would much rather show you homes you’re interested in than homes you don’t.
3. It’s OK to tell me what you like and don’t like. In fact this makes the home shopping experience fun for me and you. It’s also OK to giggle at homes that are…let’s say very unique and not remotely right for you. (i.e. interesting décor, home layouts you get lost in, etc.)
4. You can’t hurt my feelings. I don’t own any of the homes we’re looking at so it’s OK to give me the straight scoop.
5. You should be able to pick the homes you find most interesting.
6. The home shopping experience should be FUN and EXCITING!!!!

I will help you prepare to buy in anyway I can including getting you set up with a good mortgage broker, making sure you are comfortable with what your mortgage payment is going to be and comfortable with the price of the home you are buying.
