San Clemente Real EstateSan Clemente, Dana Point's sister city to the south,  lies at the southern tip of Orange County with nothing but 20 miles of ocean, and natural preserves to the south. This unique small city offers the same wonderful climate as Dana Point, as well as a Spanish architectural theme originated by its founder, Ole Hansen, and kept alive today by the San Clemente Historical Society. Ole Hansen felt San Clemente was just the place for those who longed for a slower paced life. This slower pace of life lasted until 1969 when President Nixon brought national attention to San Clemente by purchasing a mansion in town known as the "Western White House".

Although San Clemente is now more of a balanced community, it's small town atmosphere has not changed. The focal point now is its main street, "Del Mar", which offers a large number of boutique shops and stores for most every need, along with a number of wonderful restaurants including some of the best Mexican cuisine on the planet, and one local favorite that is actually on the famous San Clemente pier.

This town also offers miles of white sandy beaches as well as a couple of world class surf breaks. This charming small community has a warm and wonderful feel to it, and is definitely a great place to live.

The city of San Juan Capistrano is a unique community grounded in a history of Native American culture. The city has grown from a small community to a prosperous developed city over the last 40 plus years. Nearly 40% of San Juan Capistrano consists of open space and park land while the remainder provides for a variety of recreation, housing, jobs, shopping and services.

Mission San Juan Capistrano, "The Jewel of the Missions", is the pride of the city as well as Orange County. It is one of California's most important historical, cultural and educational centers. Areas of interest within the mission include early adobe barracks, Friars quarters, an olive millstone, an aquaduct system, beautiful gardens and the original stone church. Mission San Juan Capistrano is a non-profit historic site supported solely by donations and tourism. It is located on Ortega Highway west Sof Interstate 5 and is open daily. The mission hosts a variety of events nearly every weekend and is also available for private functions, corporate events and guided tours.

The mission is also famous for the amazing swallows who leave each year on October 23rd, St. John's Day and return each year on March 19th, St. Joseph's Day. When the swallows return home, the city of San Juan Capistrano takes on a festive atmosphere while visitors from all over come to witness the miraculous event.
